United Way of Door County Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering your time and skills to help your community is an exciting and rewarding experience.

Community Investment Committee makes the tough choices regarding where United Way dollars are spent in our community.  From youth and elderly issues to transportation and health care, these volunteers scrutinize agency budgets and programs, collectively donating over 500 hours to ensure that donor dollars are making are impact in our community.

Board of Directors continually monitors, reviews and updates the financial, human resources, and operating practices in order to keep our local United Way accountable and efficient.

Office Volunteers keep the wheels of United Way turning.  They help with mailings, delivering campaign materials, addressing envelops, and perform countless other tasks that are essential to the day-to-day operations of United Way.

Investor Relations Volunteers develop, maintain, and grow relationships with individuals and organizations in order to attract and sustain resources to support United Way’s mission.

Employee Campaign Coordinators organize and implement their company’s internal employee fund raising campaign at their workplace.

Special Event Volunteers help plan and organize events, such as our Fall Golf Classic and Chefs for a Day events.

Day of Caring
is an annual volunteer event that allows companies, organizations, and individuals to participate in activities that create community change.
